Wife is a pain; Mom was Heating & A/C tech & no one compares

It can be difficult marrying the kid of an Heating & A/C serviceman.

This legitimately is not a complication that too multiple people have, although I feel like I should start a support group for the handful of guys who understand where I’m coming from. It’s not so easy to live with someone who expects indoor air temperature & air quality perfection at all times. Apparently, growing up with a certified heating, cooling, & ventilation serviceman will vastly skew your expectations for residential indoor air quality control. At least, it certainly has for my husbandy. His Mom wasn’t just a familiar Heating & A/C tech – he was a certainly romantic heating & cooling artist. If he wasn’t on the task, fixing other residential Heating & cooling systems, his Mom was guaranteed to be at household fiddling with their own indoor air quality equipment. After being raised in a household where the Heating & A/C system was cared for like a newborn baby, nothing is good enough for her. Besides that, no Heating & A/C serviceman is good enough for her. Every single afternoon he complains about the indoor air temperature & air quality in our house. I try my best to keep up with the thermostat programming, the air filter swings, & the professional duct cleaning… But he has never satisfied. She wants the heating & cooling system to have a full-blown inspection every month, it seems. You know, I certainly would spend money the cash for a biweekly Heating & A/C service appointment, if that would certainly make his glad. The complication is, she’s convinced that every Heating & A/C serviceman my buddy and I hire is a quack or an idiot. I’m out of Heating & A/C companies to call, & she’s never going to let someone other than dear old Mom touch his precious heating & cooling system, anyways.
