I consider myself identifiably lucky to be with someone who knows how to use his hands.
- I mean that in a strictly work-related way.
He is a skilled trade worker, with an incredible mechanical mind & the innate ability to service almost anything. Whether we’re talking about heating, plumbing, or general electric work… This boy knows what he’s doing & I find it so sexy. Of course, I cannot deny that I benefit from his machine-minded nature. In fact, he has helped multiple of my lifelong dreams come tplot simply by getting involved in a project. A few weeks ago I mentioned to my boy that my bathroom was constantly cold freezing in the afternoons, & it made it unpleasant to jump in the shower. The bathroom was fastened to the central heating & cooling system, however it seemed like the freezing drafts from my window along with the extensive air duct system that had been extended into the bathroom created the perfect storm of a honestly freezing space. Besides that, there was an overhead ventilation fan & heating system installed in the bathroom, however they never worked while I lived here. If I turned on the fan or the heater, I didn’t notice much of a difference in the humidity or air temperature in that room. I was hoping that my boy could just check out the broken ventilation system & replace the heater. Well, he did a lot more than that. When I got household after work, he was proudly standing in my bathroom next to a bubble bath. He asked me how the temperature felt, & then demanded I take off my shoes. I thought it was a little odd that he was trying to get frisky right off the bat, however when my toes touched the floors, I understood. Instead of putting in a cheap overhead heater, he had installed brand new radiant radiant floors. Now our baths are super pleasant.
