Remove the things that stress you; broken car and HVAC

For a while now I’ve been thinking about becoming a registered life coach. I don’t have millions of dollars to show off or fancy cars for people to aspire to… But I have come a pretty far away, all things considered. I find that the most important thing about improving your life is being accountable. Instead of making excuses and blaming other people for your life, admit that it’s you. It’s also important for people to look around and identify how they’re holding themselves back. Recently, I was talking to a good friend and realized that he was stunting his own life with a broken car and HVAC system. It was so clear from the outside, but he felt like he was completely trapped in these circumstances with his unreliable vehicle and central air quality control plan. When we were talking, it was obvious that he needed a reliable car so he could feel free to travel outside of his apartment. However, he was worried about having enough money for a car payment, because his energy bill was always insane. Apparently, since he moved into his apartment, the HVAC system had been absolutely unpredictable. He had uneven indoor air temperatures, fluctuating between hot and cold air, all day long. If he wanted to increase the temperature, he might have to run his furnace for several hours before the cumulative increase in temperature made a noticeable difference. He knew that he needed to call an HVAC technician, but he couldn’t afford the professional maintenance appointment because his energy bills were so astronomical and he kept missing work because of his broken vehicle. In the end, I told him he needed to stop making excuses, take out a loan, and fix his HVAC program. Everything would fall into place if he stopped blaming broken air quality control machinery.
